Dr. Sridhar Iyer (Director) : Dr. Sridhar Iyer is presently a  Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engg. at IIT Bombay. Prior to this, he has been a faculty member in the Dept of Computer Science & Engg at IIT Guwahati.His research interests include: eLearning technologies, networking protocols and multimedia tools for distance education, wireless networking and applications, and some areas in program/protocol verification. Sridhar Iyer received his BTech, MTech and PhD from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engg at IIT Bombay. Prof. Sridhar Iyer is a consultant to MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource and Development), MTNL(Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd), NSDL(National Securities Depository Ltd), LIC(Life Insurance Corporation of India Ltd), RIL(Reliance Industries Ltd), SHCIL(Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd) UIIC (United India Insurance Corporation Ltd) PSPL(Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd). Dr. Sridhar is also the founder of InOpen technology and currently serving as a Non-Executive Director for InOpen.

Dr. Shridhar Shukla (Director) : Founder and Managing Director, GS Lab. For eight years before GS Lab, Shridhar was a Director at Persistent Systems, leading the Company’s growth to US$10+M with 500+ employees in 2003 from revenue base of US$200K with 20 employees in 1995. During his stint at Persistent, he helped set the strategic direction, acquired and grew key customer relationships. As COO, Shridhar developed and launched a Company-wide scalable and integrated engineering process to streamline and improve the engineering delivery and resource management. Shridhar also conceived, developed, and marketed worldwide Persistent’s first product line – an innovative suite of Identity Management products. For six years prior to Persistent, Shridhar served as a faculty member at the US Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA where he successfully led several distributed computing research projects funded by the NSF, US Navy, and Unisys. Shridhar has advised more than 20 Masters and PhD students and has published extensively in the area of parallel processing, distributed computing, multicast protocols, routing, and directory services. Shridhar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University (1990), an M. S. from Virginia Tech in VLSI (1985) and a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India (1983). Shridhar is very active in the IITB Alumni Association activities and served as the Pune Chapter President between January 2006 and June 2007.

Dr. Baru Rao (Advisor) : Dr. Baru Rao is ceo at Capgemini. Prior to Capgemini Dr. Baru was  COO at Syntel India Ltd and RM New Jersey at Tata Consultancy Services. Dr. Baru Rao a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. He did is M tech from IIT Kharagpur B.Tech from National Institute of Technology Warangal.

Abhay Karandikar (Advisor) : He obtained BE in 1986 and MTech and PhD from IIT Kanpur in 1988 and 1995 respectively. Between 1988-89. He worked in Indian Space Research Organization, Ahmedabad. He was Member Technical Staff and Team Coordinator in High Performance Computing Group of Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Pune during 1994-97. Since 1997, Currently he is working in the department of electrical engineering of IIT Bombay as a Professor. He also Heads of Computer Center of IIT Bombay.

Mr. Rupesh Shah (Founding Director & CEO ) : Rupesh is Computer Science Engineer. Prior to InOpen Rupesh was CEO of a technological startup company. Rupesh is a young and dynamic professional who is very passionate about Education and entrepreneurship. His research in FOSS based technology for the last 4 years is instrumental in monetizing and scaling up of FOSS based technologies, products and services. Rupesh had raised funds worth 3 Million INR via an angel investor and was instrumental in generating revenues worth 10 Million INR in the earlier company. Rupesh brings with him analytical, statistical skills and expertise in project management. He plays a major role in business networking and coordinating various activities
